Additionally we thank groups such as , Kaiser Pleasanton IT Finance, local Girl Scout Troops, Intuit, IBM Global Administration, Bellarmine/Notre Dame Sophomore Board, St. Martin of Tours Women's group and Book Club and many, many individual families for their generosity in providing and preparing dinners at JW House for our guests.

Give Financially:

In 2010, we waived or reduced fees for 48% of the families we served. Your donation to JW House helps us continue to provide a warm, comfortable home away from home for families in need. (Donations of $30 and over are tax-deductible).

• $25 sponsors day use for one family
• $50 sponsors a night for one family
• $100 sponsors a night for two families
• $150 sponsors a night for three families
• $200 sponsors a night for four families
• $250 sponsors a five-night stay for one family
• $500 sponsors a five night stay for two families
• $1,000 sponsors a five-night stay for four families
• $2,000 sponsors a five-night stay for eight families

As a small nonprofit organization, we depend on the amazing dedication of our wonderful volunteers to keep JW House thriving. In 2010, our roster of over 45 regular house volunteers donated more than 5,500 hours to JW House!

Become a JW House Volunteer

Every volunteer makes a difference in the lives of our guests during their time of medical crisis. JW House volunteers come in one day a week for four hours a day and assist our guests around the house, perform light housekeeping tasks, prepare meals, answer phones, and give tours to guests and visitors of the house. JW House volunteers must be 18 or older. In rare cases, we allow volunteers under the age of 18 if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. JW House Tiles:

We have created a commemorative patio in our peaceful backyard for family and friends to honor their loved ones by purchasing an engraved tile. This is a wonderful way to honor a special person or group in your life, or memorialize a loved one.

Engrave your 9x9 inch tile with a message of up to five lines. Each line has a maximum of 17 characters (please note: spaces and punctuation marks count as characters). The first three lines can be engraved for a donation of $300, and up to two extra lines can be added for $50 more for each line.

Save Mart S.H.A.R.E.S. Cards:

JW House participates in the Save Mart S.H.A.R.E.S. program. Simply swipe your JW House S.H.A.R.E.S. card at Lucky, Save Mart, Smart Foods, or Food Maxx, and we receive up to 3% back from your purchases. Your card is free and will not include any of your personal information. To order a JW House Save Mart card, e-mail us. Please use “S.H.A.R.E.S. Card” as the subject and include your name and address for us to mail you a card.
